Mark Gantar
Mark Gantar is a global economic development leader as the Honorary Consul for Ethiopia in Seattle with diverse experience in growing business operations and facilitating complex public-private investment both in the U.S. and Africa. He is a seasoned professional in the information technology field. He started as a system engineer and eventually ran his own technology company for the past couple of decades. In his diplomatic role as Honorary Consul for Ethiopia, Mark conducted international business operations and foreign direct investment (FDI). This experience in FDI developed his passion for improving the environment by becoming involved in a business that seeks to eliminate waste plastic and end-of-life tires from the planet. As President of Green Envirotech and board chairman of USWTE Investments, Mark Gantar has led an effort to clean up our planet economically and sustainably. He is an active member of the Seattle business and cultural community and participates in volunteer, philanthropic, and business efforts that support the greater Seattle area.
