Kendalem Asmarewas

Kendalem Asmarewas was born in Debretabor, Ethiopia, and received his Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Gondar in 2012. After he graduated, Kendalem worked at the Prevention of Mother To Child Transmission (PMTCT) clinic, a HIV care clinic, and in the emergency department of the University of Gondar referral hospital. In July 2017, he graduated with a Masters of Science in Pediatrics and Child Health Nursing with very great distinction from the University of Gondar. He is currently employed at University of Gondar College of Medicine and Health Sciences, School of Nursing, Department of Pediatrics and Child Health Nursing and he teaches the following courses: pediatrics nursing, pediatrics health assessment and HIV medicine. Kendalem supervises nursing students in their field work and team training programs. He has also taught courses at the Debretabor Health Science College. Kendalem is a Deacon of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church and is involved in several activities with his local Orthodox community.
