Geta Asrade

Geta Asrade was born in Simada, Ethiopia and received his BSc degree in Medical and Laboratory Technology from Haramaya University in 2006. He has worked as a laboratory technologist, disease prevention and health promotion process coordinator, TB and HIV/AIDS prevention control officer, and was a vice-head of a district health office. In September 2014, he joined the Institute of Public Health at the University of Gondar as a lecturer in the Department of Health Service Management and Health Economics. He teaches undergraduate and post-graduate courses. His main areas of research interest are community health, and the monitoring and evaluation of programs and projects. He lives with his wife and daughter in Gondar.
