gail johnson, DNP, ARNP, FNP
Gail Johnson joined the SCOPE board in 2015 after one of her doctoral students received a SCOPE fellowship. She is currently a faculty member in the School of Nursing at the University of Washington and teaches in the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)- Family Nurse Practitioner Program. She practices clinically in a community health setting serving an ethnically diverse patient population. She believes strongly in the distinctive mission of SCOPE to build partnerships between medical and faith communities to improve maternal child health, and supports the SCOPE fellowship program as a unique opportunity for both American and Ethiopian graduate students to work together in effective health programs. Gail serves on the Fellowship and Events Committees
