Dieudonne Hakizimana joined the SCOPE team in fall 2021 to support a body of work around scaling up the LAUNCH intervention. This work will use rigorous methods known as implementation science to understand the best way to move the SCOPE model from clinical trial to widespread implementation and will be conducted concurrently with the LAUNCH trial. Dieudonne is working with the team to develop study tools, collect data, and interpret results. He is currently a PhD student at the University of Washington in the Implementation Science program and holds a Master’s degree in Global Health Delivery from the University of Global Health Equity (UGHE), a Master’s degree in Epidemiology from the University of Rwanda, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Studies from the University of the West of Scotland, UK. He brings 10 years of experience working in the Rwanda health system, having taken on increasing responsibility at several local and international institutions within project coordination, research and monitoring, and evaluation (M&E).
