Mr. Ayenew Kassie is a Lecturer of Public Health Promotion and Health behavior at the University of Gondar, Ethiopia. He received his MPH degree in Health Promotion and Communication from the University of Gondar, Ethiopia in 2019; and his BSc degree in Public Health from Samara University, Ethiopia in 2016. Mr. Ayenew joined the University of Gondar as a graduate assistant II in 2016. Until he started his Master’s degree he was teaching undergraduate health and medical students. After he finished his MPH at the University of Gondar in 2019, he has been teaching as well as supervising postgraduate and undergraduate students on their research thesis works. He has been engaged in several research projects and produced scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals. He has also participated in and presented his research work at several national research conferences. His research interest includes health promotion, health behavior, behavioral risk factors of non-communicable diseases, qualitative health service research, and health behavior change theories.
