SCOPE partners with medical and faith communities to improve health in Ethiopia through outreach, education, and training.


Simon Casson is a senior undergraduate student at the University of Washington in the Jackson School of International Studies. Within the school, he is focusing his studies on Global Health.

Simon’s interest in public health issues was solidified with his work in the University of Washington Student Health Consortium, where he coordinated with local health organizations to combat health issues on campus. He has also volunteered at Neighborcare Health in Wallingford.

Simon will manage the social media aspects of SCOPE, including Facebook and Twitter, as well as the website. He will also be helping with the SCOPE newsletter.
