SCOPE partners with medical and faith communities to improve health in Ethiopia through outreach, education, and training.

Welcome Sharon and Isaac, the newest SCOPE fellows!

Sharon Kunin Brown will examine the care and resources accessible to HIV+ mothers and their babies at 3 clinic sites in Gondar, Ethiopia. Her work will help SCOPE better understand how to support the community in the hopes of achieving zero vertical transmission.

Isaac’s goal as a fellow is to analyze how a partnership between priests and medical professionals can fit with the Federal Ministry of Health’s strategies to improve maternal and newborn health.
